Platform for Environment, Art, and Creative Engagement (PEACE)

Making Environmental Knowledge Visible Through Art

Our Approach

Our work is centered around a 6 point approach:

Designing events themes that have precise and current societal relevance

Facilitating cross-disciplinary and deep collaborations between artists, academics, and the public

Fostering community engagement with the environment that is place-specific

Ensuring a high standard of artistic excellence and curation to maximum impact of our activities and to support diverse artists

Actively developing opportunities for professional experience for students and volunteers interested in working in cultural fields

Exploring creative ways that knowledge transfers and new connections can be actively supported and sustained in one's lived environment

We connect art and the environment in ways that are socially impactful, innovative, and accessible. By curating high-level exhibitions and workshops, we bring together artists and environmental research to inspire dialogue, promote sustainability, and foster a deeper understanding of pressing ecological challenges for the public.

Our Newest Project

Currently we are working on a 30 day public art event scheduled for spring 2027 in Uppsala Sweden.
More details will soon be posted here and on social media.
